The Hulk VS Super-Kip

This piece was a journey from start to finish. I originally started it in 2019 for an art challenge. I finished the line work and I was really unhappy with it, so I never finished it. It sat in my files for a while.

Last year, I rediscovered it and thought to myself: “this could be a very cool drawing if I changed a few things.” I fixed the things that were bothering me: I completely redrew the Hulk’s stage-left leg, moved his stage-right arm and made some minor edits. Then, I finally coloured it in June 2021. I am very pleased with the end result and happy I went back to this drawing.

Inked with Staetler liners and coloured with a mix of Copic and Spectrum Noir markers, and pencils.
